Well……,   Hello!

Lol, I don’t even know where to start but being here is a good start already, no? First, apologies for my hiatus. Boy, Life happened and days led to weeks and a month but I’m here now like I never left hehe.. I didn’t realize how much I missed this space until now and it feels good to be back here again.

I realize that when you’re really in the groove of something, say a task/project or work, the ideas keep flowing and you feel great. But it doesn’t last forever unfortunately; stretch yourself just a bit beyond that productivity zone and you start feeling unfocused and zoned out. That’s basically what happened to me. I tried getting back but I couldn’t, and I didn’t force it because I knew when the time is right, I’ll be back. I used the break to reflect on my personal life because so much was going on, my goals for the blog and also I needed that rest before the year runs deep which will be difficult to take a break mid-year. With so much on my plate this year, I’m glad I took the break because it did help. A lot. I’m now in a better place, ready to serve your more glam this year.

And in relation to the coming back in full swing, I brought along my full skirt. This type of skirts all the rage now and I love how chic and classy they look. The conservative length makes it extremely versatile to be worn from work to more casual settings. The best way to wear a full skirt is with a fitted top or turtle-neck tucked into the waistband in order to highlight your waist-line. Honestly I’m not a fan of full skirts or just skirts generally because we tomboys were not meant for them. Lol, issa struggle! So I completed the whole look with sandal heels for a more chic look. And oh btw, don’t you all love my new hairstyle? I don’t know why I took this long to do it because this was literally love at first sight! I am sold! And you better brace yourself because you will be seeing this for a longer period. No apologies!

That’s it for this post. I hope you don’t shy away from taking a break whenever you feel like you need to. We may think that not taking a break from work results in more work being done, but this is not always the case. Sometimes we know there’s a better way to do things, but we’re just so busy we don’t even think we have the time to find it–so we keep going like we always have. That’s how I saw things, too. And then I discovered the power of taking break. And I’m glad I did because it has made me more focused and more productive–and I bet that can do the same for you. Try it and you will be amazed by the outcome.

Until next post, cheers! XoXo!
